What if I Am Pregnant?
Our obstetrics team at Essential Women's Health Associates is dedicated to assisting expecting women and encourages healthy pregnancies. With a location in Las Vegas and Henderson, NV, we invite you to select the location that is closest to you. Over the course of your pregnancy, you will have many visits to our office for prenatal appointments to monitor your vital signs and check up on how you are doing.
Our group of board-certified and board-eligible OBGYNs is wonderful to work with and look forward to meeting you at your first appointment. You will be assigned to a doctor at our practice, and we encourage you to meet with all of the doctors in the practice. Our OBGYNs all share equal time to be available for your delivery.

Who will assist in my pregnancy?
While each patient has her own OBGYN at Essential Women's Health Associates, we also provide care as a team to all of our obstetrical patients. Our OBGYNs meet frequently to discuss special care issues, such as patients with high-risk pregnancy conditions. We continuously review our care patterns to ensure we are meeting the standards of our industry.
When it comes to your delivery, we all practice in a consistent manner. Our "birth plan" involves the safety of the baby and mother above all else. We are happy to discuss ways to accommodate your medical wishes within our standards of care at our offices in Las Vegas and Henderson, NV.
WHo will assist in my Delivery?
The physicians at Essential Women’s Health Associates approach pregnancy and delivery as a team. Our OBGYNs deliver babies at the following hospitals:
- Henderson Hospital
- Southern Hills Hospital
- St. Rose Dominican Hospital – Siena Campus
- St. Rose Dominican Hospital – San Martin Campus
There is an Essential Women's Health Associates OBGYN on call at all times for labor and delivery. This practitioner is not scheduled for office visits or major surgery. He or she will be available to attend to your needs during labor.

Planning for care during pregnancy and delivery is very important and taken very seriously.

Other Considerations about pregnancy
Essential Women's Health Associates can provide services, like genetic testing, ultrasounds, sonograms, and the collection of cord blood and tissue. In the event that you need to have a Cesarean-section or vaginal birth after Cesarean (VBAC) delivery, we can offer that, too. If you need to have specialized care for a high-risk pregnancy, we have practitioners who specifically specialize in treating it.
